Aglaonema Silver Bay - Grande
Aglaonema 'Silver Bay'[ Pot Size: 8'' | Height: 20" - 22" ]
The Aglaonema Silver Bay—also called a Chinese Evergreen—is a low-maintenance houseplant that tolerates most indoor conditions, making it a great choice for people who are new to plant care. With large, oval leaves featuring green and silver-blue patterns, the Aglaonema Silver Bay can bring color and life to low light areas that might seem inhospitable for plants. While the Aglaonema Silver Bay will periodically produce flowers, the plant is generally prized for its lush foliage and remarkable adaptability.

Plant Care Guide
Light
Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light as well. Avoid direct sunlight.
Water
About once every 10-14 days. Allow soil to mostly dry out—but not completely. Water less often in winter.
Level of Care
Easy! Just make sure the plant isn't in direct sunlight and don't overwater.
Air Purifying
The NASA Clean Air Study has ranked the Aglaonema as one of the most efficient houseplants that remove formaldehyde and benzene from the air we breathe.
Fertilizer
Feed with a mild liquid, indoor plant fertilizer about 1-2 times a month during the growing season. Do not fertilize in winter.
Temperature
Prefers warm conditions above 60°F. Keep away from drafty windows and air conditioners.
Soil
A peaty All-Purpose potting soil with good drainage works best.
Pruning & Propagation
Prune yellow or damaged leaves by cutting to the leaf node. If leggy, prune stems down to 4-8 inches tall to stimulate new growth. To propagate, large plants can be divided.
Pet Friendly
Sorry! Plant contains very sharp calcium oxalate crystals that, when eaten, cause mouth and digestion irritation.
