Balfour aralia is widely grown in temperate climates as small ornamental houseplant. Indoors it is typically grown as a small juvenile plant or as a mature plant which can grow as high as 8 feet tall. Best grown in bright sunny locations with protection from hot afternoon sum. Tolerates some shade. Prune to control size. Water regularly but moderately during the growing season, with much reduced watering from fall to late winter. Plants may be taken to sheltered outdoor locations in the summer.

NOTE: Delivered in terracotta pot, but does NOT include a saucer. Please order the saucer separately if so desired (it should be the same size as the pot, or one size smaller). Most of our plants are readily available, but depending on the season, some orders may take 24-36 hours to process. In this case you will be contacted by a Plantshed representative.
