Care Guide
About once a week. Allow soil to mostly dry out—but not completely. Water less often in winter. If leaves develop brown tips, air may be too dry and misting may help.
Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light as well. Avoid direct sunlight.
Prune yellow or damaged stems down to soil level. To propagate, large plants can be divided.
Easy! Just make sure the plant isn't in direct sunlight and don't overwater.
A peaty All-Purpose potting soil with good drainage works best.
Sorry! All parts of the plant are considered mildly toxic if consumed.
Spathiphyllum filter more indoor pollutants than most other plants, so they are great for bedrooms or other frequented rooms. Inside the tropical plant's pores, toxic gases like carbon monoxide and formaldehyde are broken down and neutralized.
Feed with a mild liquid, indoor plant fertilizer about 1-2 times a month during the growing season. Do not fertilize in winter.
Prefers warm conditions above 60°F. Keep away from drafty windows and air conditioners.
